about
I am an animator and director, with dreams of running my own animation studio one day!
Nina Carpenter
I’m an animator, artist, and director driven by a love for visual storytelling and a desire to create beauty that feels alive. Whether I’m curating and photographing a shoot, sculpting an armature, or animating frame by frame, I approach each project as an opportunity to express the energy and emotion I see in the world around me—and to craft something that sparks joy in others.
With a background in music, dance, and film, my work is rooted in rhythm, movement, and intuition. I’m fascinated by the physics of motion, the resonance of vibrations through space, and the quiet but powerful ways that objects, beings, and energies affect one another across time. These unseen forces are central to the way I see and create.
Much of my creative vision is shaped by my lived experience—as a mother, and as someone who moves through the world guided by a spiritual lens. These aspects of who I am inspire me to notice the subtle, sacred moments of everyday life, and to infuse my work with warmth, depth, and intention.
I started Lone Wolf Animation inspired by the term “lone wolf,” a phrase that’s always intrigued me. Though often thought of as solitary, wolves are deeply social beings. While I’ve had seasons of walking alone, my truest goal is connection: to find kindred creatives, to collaborate, and to bring bigger, more meaningful visions into the world—together.
